Color-first editing.

A young tree in a park, turning gold against the sky.

Grab the sky. Make it blue.

Pull the blue and the sky deepens — the greens right next to it stay where they are. Nudge as many colors as you like; the photo keeps up as you go.

Color shouldn't be eight sliders.

Fast where it counts. Private by default. Yours to keep.

03 / Non-destructive

Your originals stay untouched.

Your originals are read-only — never moved, renamed, or baked over. Every edit lives separately, so you can rework or reset any photo, any time.

04 / Private & local

Your photos never leave your machine.

No cloud, no account to browse or edit, no telemetry unless you opt in. Point it at a folder and work — everything stays on your computer.

05 / Buy once

Own it. No subscription.

A one-time purchase, yours to keep. No recurring fees, no seats, no lock-in. The catalog is a single file you control.

06 / Fast

Questions

What is Tone Caliper?

Tone Caliper is a minimal desktop app for photographers: browse your folders, grade by color on one wheel, and keep every change non-destructive. For macOS and Windows.

Does it import or manage my photos?

No. It reads the folders you already have and leaves them exactly as they are — it never moves, renames, or changes your original files. Your edits are stored separately.

Will my photos be uploaded anywhere?

No. Tone Caliper works entirely on your computer. There's no cloud, and you don't need an account to browse or edit.

Is it a subscription?

No. It's a one-time purchase — buy it once and it's yours, with no recurring fees.

How much will it cost?

Final pricing will be announced at launch, and there will be a free trial so you can try it before buying.

When will it be available, and on which platforms?

It's in active development and launching soon for macOS and Windows. To hear first, drop us a note on the contact page.
